Brisbane Valley Heritage Trails Inc (BVHT) was incorporated as an Association in Queensland with a mission of conserving the Brisbane Valley and its surrounding districts - its history, pioneers, buildings of historical significance and various trails and stock routes which are scattered throughout the region. So whether you are researching a particular issue, have geneology queries about your ancestors or simply have a general interest in the region, you'll find a wealth of information here.

"Stonehouse"
Stonehouse is a group of related stone buildings on the D'Aguilar Highway between Esk and Nanango which were built in the 1870/80s as part of a homestead and wayside inn complex.
An interest group called "Friends of Stonehouse" has been established which meets regularly and undertakes tasks relating to the restoration, preservation and recognition of these buildings..
